Swim Team! Disclosure & Handbook

  Come join the swim team!   No experience needed to join. We will teach you how to do the different strokes. Practice runs from 2:45 to 4:00 after school at the Complex. Please come in your suit, ready to swim.   Swim Disclosure and Handbook 2020-21

Swim Team

Hey Royals! Swim Team is starting up and we would love more swimmers! Beginners are definitely welcome. We begin swim conditioning on Monday, August 31st. Come give it a try! Meet in Room 118 at 2:30.

Royal Accomplishments!

We want to congratulate the following Royal teams/individuals on their accomplishments this last week: RHS Winter Sports Academic All-State Recipients: Boys Swim= Carsen Weyland! Girls Basketball= Autumn Litster!  Girls Swim= Sky Humble! Royal Debate Team Region Placers and State Championship Qualifiers:  Kristina Deshazo- 4th Place in Lincoln Douglas Debate, Dominic Kendziora and Peyton Barerra- 7th Place in Public

Swim Team Fund Raiser

The swim team is doing a Jimmy’s Flowers Fundraiser. When you buy a card ($30) you get 12 months worth of flowers (a $75 value.) Swimmers Wanted!

If you are interested in being on the swim team, please attend dryland training on Wednesday, Sept 6, 2017. We will meet on the track at 3:00.

Roy High Swimmers @ Region

Congratulations to Roy High boys! Preston Tyler who won the boys 100 Yard Breaststroke event! Matthew Williams, Josh Powers, and Tyler Kelley all performed very well in their events also. Way to go, boys!

Academic All Region Students

Congratulations to our Royal Athletes! They excel in academics while they also focus on their athletics! Way to go!

All-State Academic Honors

Congratulations to Savannah Williams and Cole Smith who are both recognized by the UHSAA for the All-State Academic Teams in their sports.  Cole represents the swim team we as he has maintained at least 3.998 GPA.  Savannah has earned a 4.0 GPA during her high school career as well as competing in basketball.
